Security Guard Arrested for Throwing Woman from Balcony

In Panama City Beach, Fl a Security Guard was arrested and booked on charges of attempted felony murder, sexual battery and false imprisonment. According to the story this hotel security guard accusted an alabama spring breaker forcing her into an empty room. They began to struggle and the guard pushed the girl out the 6th floor balcony. She landed in a second-floor stairwell and suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A background check found an outstanding arrest warrant from Indiana on a burglary charge for the security guard.

Here at Owl Patrol Security every new hire must go through an extensive background check before they are even interviewed for a position. We pride ourselves on offering the best service possible. In order for us to provide the best service our guards must meet certain requirements. A clean background, negative drug tests and a clearence letter are just a few of the requirements needed to work at our company. Rest assured that when a guard is from Owl Patrol Security he is a responsbible and reliable individual representing the company in his image and his actions.

The efficiency of our security officers is based on:

• Overtime is acknowledged and paid.
• Paid Holidays
• Benefits in case of illness
• Workers compensation.
• General Liability.
• They are treated as associates not as employees.

We maintain a strong and close relationship with our clients, maintaining a reservation of 15 security officers per day in case of an emergency. Our clients are important to us so we maintain availability of security guards strictly for the client’s peace of mind.
We have communities in which we have been providing them with services for more than 15, years and we have references available upon request.

All our security guards have the same responsibilities, however their duties vary based on a post order given by the community and/or whether the guards work in a stationary position (“foot patrol”) or in a patrol car.

Neither “foot patrol” nor a patrol car is better than the other it all depends on the needs and preferences of the client.

“Foot Patrol” guards generally work in the same area every day. Their duties include manning posts at the entrance of a facility, checking people and vehicles entering and leaving the property. Normally a guard of “foot patrol” is used for television stations, laboratories, factories, and other premises that involve a small sized property.

In contrast, guards assigned to mobile patrol duty drive from location to location conducting security checks within a larger property or premises. They issue traffic violation warnings for double parking, parking in undesignated spot and other various traffic violations. A security guard in a patrol car is able to deter criminal violators simply by driving around the property.

All our security guards show good judgment and common sense, most importantly they follow post rules and directives from supervisors.

In each audit that has been made by the Division of Licensing to Owl Patrol we have received the highest score of 10 points, being in the top security agencies in Florida.

It would not be professional to say we are the best, but we can truly guarantee that we are among the most serious. We ensure this statement by sending a monthly questionnaire to our clients, in order to maintain our professional service.
Each year we send out an annual statement to our clients along with the W9 to help maintain our client’s records as well as our own.

In God we trust.
